Lions - Lift Me

What a way to start the week! A HUGE track that felt like an incessant assault on my ears which, after just one listen had me sat in a satisfied state of battered confusion! In other words it was like getting slapped in the face by a GIANT PAIR OF TITS. With a vocoded vocal hook cleverly accompanied by an entourage of dizzying sounds; ‘Lift Me’ felt like it wasn’t just playing through the motions like a generic dub track, it was well and truly KICKING THE SHIT OUT OF ME. A brave and successful effort from the Canadian brothers who evidently have an untold amount of potential! I wouldn’t push my luck in saying this is a groundbreaking track for the Dubstep world, but it’s definitely a positive indication that progression is being made within the genre and innovation still exists. A refreshing step in the right direction. So, BUY THE FUCKING E.P. ‘Lions Tigers and Snares’. You will not be disappointed. ENOUGH SAID.
